With quick access to the Basilica of San Pedro, you can skip the queues and go directly to the heart of one of the most revered Christian temples.
The Basilica of San Pedro, in Renaissance style, is one of the largest churches in the world. During its construction (which lasted 120 years) many architects such as Miguel Ángel and Rafael added their personal touch. Michelangelo, for example, added the dome, and it is still the largest in the world! The highlights of the visit include the Baldachin of San Pedro de Bernini (the most important piece of the church), the Pieta by Michelangelo (the only work he signed) and the aforementioned dome. And of course, seeing St. Peter's Square and the city of Rome from the steps is a sight you will never forget.
